This Senior Mechanical Engineer role focuses on HVAC system designs for industrial applications, ensuring all deliverables meet strict quality and compliance standards. You will lead calculations, design layouts, and serve as the technical contact for HVAC system vendors. By collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you'll contribute to project success and mentor newer engineers in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead HVAC design and review deliverables
• Perform system design and load calculations
• Develop HVAC layouts in collaboration with various disciplines
• Conduct site evaluations to support engineering activities
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers in HVAC design
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Eligible for P.Eng. registration with APEGA
• Extensive experience in HVAC engineering for industrial applications
• Knowledgeable about HVAC codes and industry standards
• Experience with HVAC engineering software and tools
