As the Utility Transmission Planning Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of engineers in transmission planning for major utilities and non-utility clients. You'll provide technical supervision and collaborate closely with internal Jacobs project managers, focusing on client needs. Your expertise will directly contribute to Jacobs' business development and bidding processes, enhancing our impact in sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead transmission planning and studies for utilities and clients

• Supervise and mentor technical engineering team members

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders

• Support business development through technical proposals

• Ensure compliance with NERC, FERC standards and ISO practices

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering

• 10+ years of experience in transmission planning

• Strong knowledge of North American standards

• Proven team leadership and communication skills

• Willingness to travel across North America
