Test Specialist for CDU Systems

Drive innovation in cooling technology as a Test Specialist at CoolIT Systems in Calgary. Oversee testing and qualification of CDU systems while ensuring mechanical and thermal performance excellence.

In this full-time position, you will lead the verification and validation processes for Cooling Distribution Unit systems.

Your role demands strong skills in mechanical and electrical testing, data acquisition, and advanced statistical analysis. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with design and manufacturing teams to foster improvements in product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and own test strategies and validation plans

• Conduct reliability and stress testing, including HALT and thermal cycling

• Perform advanced statistical data analysis and validation

• Lead design reviews and identify risk mitigation strategies

• Prepare and present data-driven technical reports

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid systems

• Proficiency with bench test tools and instrumentation

• Experience with embedded systems and programming

• Familiarity with reliability test standards
