• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to address product issues and implement effective solutions.
• Analyze product performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements in existing products.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate product changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Document engineering processes, including design changes, test results, and maintenance procedures, to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Participate in root cause analysis for product failures, utilizing problem-solving methodologies to develop corrective actions.
• Assist in the development of training materials and provide training to team members and customers on product features and maintenance.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to inform product development and sustainment strategies.
• Support the transition of new products from development to production, ensuring that all necessary documentation and processes are in place.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and performance, contributing to the overall efficiency of engineering operations.
• Work closely with suppliers and vendors to address material and component issues that may impact product performance.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, progress updates, and collaborate on ongoing projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sustaining engineering role or similar position within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as CAD, simulation software, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being capable of working independently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance standards relevant to the engineering field.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools is a plus.

• Certification as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada or equivalent.
• Experience in the air management or HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for design and modeling.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Excel) for performance evaluation.
• Familiarity with simulation software for testing and validation purposes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to use project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) to track progress and collaborate with team members.

• This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, and may require occasional travel to customer sites or manufacturing facilities.
