The Western Canada Power Delivery group at Stantec seeks a highly skilled Senior Electrical Designer. You will deliver detailed electrical designs, prepare essential drawings, and coordinate with various engineering disciplines. This role not only involves design but also offers opportunities for mentoring junior engineers and supporting project execution through effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed substation design drawings and packages

• Prepare electrical deliverables, including layouts and one-lines

• Perform QA/QC reviews and interpret vendor specifications

• Support projects with updates and site visits

• Assist with cost estimating and proposals

Requirements:

• 8+ years of HV substation design experience

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Micro Station

• Experience with data collection from site visits

• Ability to visualize grounding and layouts
