Senior Long Range Planning Engineer Role

Take charge of long-range planning with Cenovus as a Senior Long Range Planning Engineer. Lead the iSTO program while optimizing strategies and enhancing business performance.

Cenovus is looking for a Senior Engineer to manage integrated Shutdown, Turnaround, and Outage programs for its major SAGD assets like Foster Creek or Christina Lake. You will develop five-year maintenance plans, budgets over $100 million, and oversee critical operations. Ideal candidates will possess deep industry knowledge and strong leadership skills for mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive development and management of major maintenance schedules

• Create production loss forecasting models for outage planning

• Align maintenance plans with asset objectives through partnership

• Lead efforts in OPEX reduction and budget optimization

• Mentor engineers on operational excellence and reliability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with P.Eng. certification

• At least 12 years of relevant engineering experience

• Strong analytical skills with data modeling expertise

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Proven ability to drive results in dynamic environments
