Position: Join CIMA+ as a Geotechnical Engineer
CIMA+ is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Geotechnical Engineer for its dynamic Earth and Environment team in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time role supports a flexible hybrid work model that enhances work-life balance.
In this position, you will lead geotechnical investigations, collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, and prepare essential technical reports.

Your role will also include mentoring junior staff and ensuring quality control across a variety of engineering tasks. You'll have the opportunity to work on transformative infrastructure projects that shape Alberta and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical investigation studies from start to finish

• Supervise fieldwork including borehole drilling and sampling

• Analyze geological data to mitigate construction risks

• Prepare geotechnical design recommendations and reports

• Manage site inspections and construction reviews
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines

• Five years of experience in a consulting firm

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designations preferred

• In-depth knowledge of soil mechanics and foundational design

• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities
