This full-time position focuses on optimizing process designs for sour gas systems associated with the Clearwater Project in Alberta. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will oversee development, operation, and compliance of gas handling systems, utilizing your extensive experience and technical expertise. This opportunity positions you at the forefront of an emerging industry dedicated to progressing Alberta's lithium value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design sour gas handling and emissions systems
• Approve process simulations and engineering specifications
• Support safety studies and compliance measures
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams and contractors
• Assist in the commissioning and operational support of systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 15 years in related engineering roles
• Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA
• Expertise with gas processing technology and systems
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes
