Specialized Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Join our team as a Specialized Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, focusing on creating efficient designs for SAGD projects. Your contributions will enhance project implementation and execution.

We seek a seasoned engineer with over 5 years of experience in Instrumentation and Controls within the SAGD sector. In this role, you'll apply your technical knowledge to instrument design, bid evaluations, and client communications, playing a critical part in project success. Knowledge of Emerson DeltaV is a must for this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and apply control narratives and specifications

• Assess instrumentation and control bids effectively

• Review vendor documentation for compliance and accuracy

• Collaborate with client teams during critical project phases

• Generate construction packages and support system commissioning

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Instrumentation and Controls experience

• Strong knowledge of industrial measurement devices

• Proficiency in electrical design methodologies

• Communicative and problem-solving skills for team dynamics

• P.Eng. registration with APEGA required
