Senior Mechanical Designer with Mistras

Join the talented team at Mistras' Onstream division as a Senior Mechanical Designer specializing in the advancement of tool technologies. Lead projects that enhance pipeline inspection tools through innovative design and development.

We're looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Designer, skilled in Auto Desk Inventor and knowledgeable in electronics. A Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or degree and APEGA registration are preferred. You should excel at managing multiple projects and presenting your ideas effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design complex mechanical components in Auto Desk Inventor

• Investigate and implement new design technologies

• Incorporate electronics and sensor technologies into designs

• Compile data and research findings into a presentable format

• Build, test, and document prototypes and designs

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Technology degree or diploma (preferred)

• APEGA registration preferred

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical design

• Knowledge of pipeline inspection tools is an advantage

• Excellent communication and organization abilities
