Piping Designer

Position: Piping Designer Opening
Kent is seeking an Intermediate Piping Designer for our Calgary, Alberta office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineering teams on challenging projects in the energy sector.

In this role, you will prepare piping designs and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines. Your background in piping design within the oil and gas or petrochemical sectors, paired with excellent communication skills, will be crucial for success. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare piping layouts and 3D design models

• Create piping isometrics and site-specific documents

• Coordinate with structural and mechanical teams

• Participate in design reviews and work collaboratively

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client needs

Requirements:

• Diploma in a relevant technical field

• Minimum of 7 years of industry experience required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to travel for site visits
