Become an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, contributing to critical projects in the oil and gas industry. Engage with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions and maintain standards.
This position involves the selection and sizing of instrumentation, coupled with quality control checks and vendor communication. Candidates must have a diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in the field. A strong foundation in API, ASME, and CSA standards is key, alongside excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with teams to assure project compliance
• Specify field instrumentation and control systems
• Review technical specifications and documents
• Prepare material requisitions and evaluations
• Conduct squad checks on vendor drawings
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant diploma
• Four years of experience in instrumentation engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Familiarity with AVEVA Instrumentation or SPI
• APEGA registration eligibility preferred
