Calgary Reservoir & Production Engineering Director

Join a leading energy firm as the Director of Reservoir & Production Engineering in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time role focuses on strategic leadership and the optimization of subsurface assets across the organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Development, you will lead the engineering team in maximizing resource value and implementing best practices in project execution. The role demands strong leadership skills and extensive experience in reservoir management and production optimization while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering team development and strategy implementation

• Manage resource evaluations and regulatory compliance

• Drive production strategy optimization including artificial lift

• Represent the organization in key technical engagements

• Oversee budget management and financial tracking

Requirements:

• P.Eng. designation in Alberta or eligibility for registration

• Minimum 10 years' experience in upstream energy

• At least 5 years managing multidisciplinary teams

• Strong subsurface engineering background

• Knowledge of lithium brine and EOR beneficial
