Join VulcanX Energy Corp as a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in hydrogen production. This role focuses on FEED, design, and operation of innovative hydrogen energy solutions.
In this pivotal role at VulcanX, you will leverage your 8+ years of experience in chemical plant design to work on revolutionary projects involving high-temperature hydrocarbon processes. You will be a key player in the mechanical design and execution aspects of the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance and efficiency through detailed engineering and procurement stages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead collaboration among engineering and project teams
• Oversee design, review, and specifications for mechanical systems
• Conduct technical evaluations and vendor communications
• Perform complex calculations for equipment and piping
• Manage QA/QC processes across engineering projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in oil and gas or hydrogen sectors
• P.Eng. certification preferred, familiarity with industry codes essential
• Hands-on experience in pilot and industrial-scale plants desired
• Strong communication and organizational skills
