Join Canadian Natural's Oil Sands Projects team as a Chemical Engineering Student in Fort McMurray or Calgary, Alberta. Engage in diverse projects while enhancing your engineering knowledge and skills.
As a Chemical Engineering student, you will be involved in various exciting projects tailored to develop your understanding of engineering principles. Work closely with Senior Process Engineers, gaining valuable experience while contributing to process deliverables and design solutions. The internship is an ideal opportunity for hands-on learning within world-class mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in project scope work under senior direction
• Support simulation and hydraulic calculation tasks
• Filter and interpret operation data for design issues
• Coordinate with Safety, Operations, and Maintenance teams
• Ensure quality control processes for documentation
Requirements:
• Pursuing a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering
• Understanding of PFD and P&
• Knowledge of basic design principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous operating plant field experience is beneficial
