You’ll work within one of our organizations for the duration of your internship working alongside experienced professionals, receive coaching and mentorship, and contributing to projects that drive real results and add value to the business. Through hands-on experiences, you’ll strengthen your professional capabilities while gaining a deeper understanding of industry operations. You’ll also gain exposure to the day-to-day work of full-time engineers, scientists, and experienced professionals giving you a sense of what a career at Imperial looks like.

We’re hiring students for January or May 2027 student/co-op opportunities.

• Studying to achieve a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
  - Role best suited for Mechanical or Materials programs
• University student available for a work term beginning in January or May 2027
• Currently enrolled in a university program and returning to full-time studies after the work term
• Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals who are energized by working with people and by achieving superior results
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required for the role
• Commitment to safety on and off the job
• To be considered for employment, your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application

• Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Reader, or similar engineering software
• Understanding of engineering drawings and technical documents
• Proficiency with Power BI and exposure with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
• Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Work Term: 12 or 16 months
