Senior Structural Engineer

The Role

We’re hiring aStructural Engineer to lead structural design and analysis for modular packages and industrial steel structures. You’ll support projects from design through fabrication, and work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and the shop floor to deliver code-compliant, buildable designs.

What You’ll Do

• Design and analyze industrial structures (modules, skids, platforms, equipment supports)
• Perform static/dynamic analysis (natural frequency/time-history where required)
• Complete lifting and transportation assessments (road/sea)
• Design connections, lugs, base plates, and anchor interfaces
• Support fabrication teams with RFIs, fit-up issues, and structural clarifications
• Prepare calculation packages and engineering reports

What You Bring

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or Mechanical with strong structural focus)
• P.Eng (AB and/or BC) or eligible within 6 months
• 10-15+ years in industrial structural design (fabrication/modular is ideal)
• Strong knowledge of structural codes (CSA/CISC/AISC/NBC)
• Experience with tools such as RISA 3D, STAAD Pro, IDEA Stati Ca (or similar)
