Stantec is offering a Senior Estimator role in Edmonton, Alberta, ideal for someone with experience in hydropower and water treatment solutions. You will be responsible for the management of cost estimates for projects valued up to $2 billion. This includes collaborating with a team of estimators and engineers, validating costs, and ensuring project schedules meet design requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates
• Oversee collaboration with estimating teams and engineers
• Validate and compile construction information from all disciplines
• Prepare detailed reports and execution plans for estimation
• Identify and assess project risks and opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
• Over 10 years of estimating experience
• Strong expertise in water and mechanical infrastructure
• Familiarity with various estimating software tools
• Ability to mentor junior estimators and lead teams
