Join the Soils and Materials team, where you will work closely with Project Engineers to conduct construction observations and materials testing.
Your role will involve both field and laboratory work, ensuring the integrity of construction materials for diverse projects in Calgary and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform on-site concrete testing, including casting and density
• Conduct asphalt and concrete coring activities
• Collect soil and asphalt samples from job sites
• Execute laboratory testing on concrete cylinders and soil
• Participate in problem-solving for construction site issues
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in materials testing
• Familiarity with local municipal construction specs
• Enrollment in a Civil Engineering Technology program an asset
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Office
