The CIMA+ offices in Western Canada are in the middle of a large growth trajectory. This means new, exciting complex projects that you will have the ability to shape and be a part of. We are looking for a Technologist to support the Buildingsgroup in Calgary with the design and drafting of building mechanical systems for an array of different building types in institutional,commercial and municipal infrastructure.

• Design, modeling and drafting of heating,ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and HVAC control systems, using the latest versions of Revit and AutoCAD
• Implementing redline markups from engineers
• Working with engineers to ensure that all aspects of the design are coordinated with other disciplines
• Design calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Occasional site visits to survey existing conditions and to document ongoing construction.
• Continued professional development through participation in internal and external learning opportunities.

• 5+years experience with
  
  Revit Building Systems and AutoCAD 2D;
• The ability to adapt to and adhere to internal and external REVIT/CAD and design standards;
• Available to work outside of the office on an occasional basis
• Valid Canadian drivers licence with access to transportation for site reviews and inspections
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in the English language.
