Become a Fire Protection Engineer (P.Eng.) with Tecnicas Reunidas Canada E&C in Calgary. Enhance your career while leading critical fire protection efforts in major industrial projects.
In this professional engineering role, you will leverage your fire protection skills to lead the design and implementation of safety systems for EPC projects. You will ensure compliance with Alberta Building and Fire Codes while facilitating collaboration across disciplines. Your extensive background in firewater calculations, detection systems, and safety compliance will be essential for project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee fire protection engineering from project inception to completion
• Develop and review system design criteria and specifications
• Analyze emergency egress and safety procedures adherence
• Perform fire detection and suppression system assessments
• Coordinate with multiple engineering teams to resolve design issues
Requirements:
• Must be a registered P.Eng. with APEGA in Alberta
• Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical or equivalent
• At least 7 years of relevant engineering experience
• Familiarity with NFPA and CSA standards required
• Proven track record in industrial EPC environments
