Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Responsibilities:
- Lead process engineering activities on SAGD and thermal oil sands projects
- Manage process engineering scope, schedules, deliverables, and priorities
- Oversee development of process simulations, heat and material balances, PFDs, and P&IDs
- Support project execution from feasibility studies through commissioning and start-up
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, risk assessments, and technical discussions
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while maintaining quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
- Possess a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
- Demonstrate extensive process engineering experience within the oil and gas industry
- Bring significant experience supporting SAGD and thermal oil sands projects
- Have proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Show experience within EPCM, consulting, or owner-operator environments
- Demonstrate expertise supporting projects from studies and FEED through start-up
- Exhibit strong knowledge of Aspen HYSYS, process design, and thermal oil sands facilities
