Position: 16-Month Co-op for Drilling Engineering Student
Embark on your professional journey with Saturn Oil & Gas as a Drilling Engineer Co-op Student based in Calgary, Alberta. This 16-month role begins in May 2027 and is key to deepening your understanding of the drilling engineering field.

At Saturn Oil & Gas, you will be instrumental in supporting drilling operations while collaborating closely with experienced engineers. This position focuses on preparing drilling programs, tracking operations, and engaging in post-well reviews, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience throughout your tenure. You will also gain hands-on exposure to critical industry practices and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help prepare operational drilling programs and plans

• Analyze drilling and completions data for insightful planning

• Monitor daily drilling progress and performance metrics

• Assist with regulatory submissions and related documentation

• Work alongside engineers and consultants for efficient execution

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program related to engineering

• Commitment to completing the full 16-month term

• Willingness to relocate to Calgary during the internship

• Strong communication and analytical abilities

• Experience with Power BI is beneficial
