Support projects through concept development, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up.
Complete site visits, field verification, loop checks, commissioning support and troubleshooting, as required.
Ensure assigned work complies with project requirements, client standards, applicable codes and regulations, and HOCS quality and safety practices.
Complete accurate, well-documented deliverables within established schedules and communicate progress and technical issues to the project team.

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with APEGA, Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) designation with ASET, or eligibility for the applicable designation, is considered an asset.
Approximately 5 to 9 years of progressive instrumentation and controls engineering or design experience in an industrial, energy, EPC or EPCM environment.
Demonstrated experience preparing instrumentation datasheets, instrument indexes, I/O lists, control narratives, loop documentation and technical specifications.
Working knowledge of field instrumentation, control valves, PLC/DCS/SCADA systems and industrial communication networks.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, control-system architecture drawings, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and vendor documentation.
