In this senior-level role, you will manage a team of engineers specializing in transmission planning, collaborating with T&D utilities and independent operators. You will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative grid solutions while supporting Jacobs' business development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and offer technical supervision at a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead transmission planning teams for various client projects
• Collaborate with T&D utilities and IOUs for project success
• Oversee technical studies and project proposals
• Support business development and bidding initiatives
• Ensure compliance with North American standards
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in transmission planning
• Strong knowledge of NERC, FERC standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional Engineer (PE or PEng) license preferred
