We are looking for a Production Engineering Student to work on the Production & Operations Engineering team for a 4-month term beginning in May 2027. This position will be based in-person, in our downtown Calgary office, with the potential for occasional Field visits within Alberta.

• You will be participating in well reviews to evaluate performance and production opportunities
• You will be supervised and mentored by a Senior Engineer within the group for your work term
• You will learn about project management principles by assisting in the planning and implementation of optimization, production, and operational efficiencies
• You will develop and maintain Production engineering reports, tools, and data analytics to assess performance and identify trends
• You will collaborate with our Operations, Exploitation, and Reservoir teams to support our field production
• You will assist Production Engineers with various project related activities such as assessing field economics and planning requirements

• You are currently enrolled in your 2 nd or 3 rd year of Mechanical, Petroleum, Energy, or Chemical Engineering Program
• You are able to work effectively in a team environment.
• You are someone who values feedback as a learning tool.
• You are motivated, hard-working and determined to achieve superior results.
• You are focused and have a keen attention to detail.
• Previous oil and gas experience is not required, however it is considered an asset

• You have:
  • a strong safety mindset
  • strong computer skills including data analysis and MS Office skills
  • demonstrated effective decision-making skills
  • good communication and presentation skills

• You are currently enrolled at one of the following post-secondary institutions:
  University of Calgary, University of Saskatchewan, Queens, or any other Canadian post-secondary with an accredited Engineering Program
• You are available to work the full duration of the outlined work term
• You are currently residing in Calgary or willing to relocate for your work term

• You are legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction, by way of one of the following:
  • Canadian Citizenship
  • Permanent Residency
  • Valid work permit

This position will provide you with an opportunity to leverage your skills in support of a Canadian-based energy company. You will receive on-the-job experience, coaching and training and work in a collaborative learning environment.
