This full-time role seeks a motivated engineer with strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. You will prepare structural designs, coordinate with project teams, and mentor junior engineers while supporting the professional development of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare designs for bridge and transportation projects
• Apply engineering principles to develop effective solutions
• Coordinate projects with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P. Eng) registration with APEGA
• 5-8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Familiarity with CHBDC and AREMA codes
• Proficient in SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, and MIDAS
