This senior technical leadership role covers planning, design, delivery, and quality oversight for airport electrical engineering projects. You will support airfield lighting, electrical distribution, facility systems, standby power, and airport support facilities. The position also involves client coordination, construction support, proposals, mentoring, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead airport electrical infrastructure design and project delivery
Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and construction documents
Review deliverables for quality, safety, constructability, and operations
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide construction guidance
Mentor engineers, EITs, technologists, and designers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
Canadian Professional Engineer designation or registration eligibility
Minimum 10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience
Airport, aviation, transportation, municipal, or infrastructure project experience
Knowledge of CEC, AGL, distribution systems, and airport standards
