Tri Innovations seeks an Intermediate Electrical Designer with six-plus years of experience and electrical design certification. The position coordinates with engineering disciplines while developing models, diagrams, layouts, material takeoffs, and cost-estimating support. Proficiency in Cadworx, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and electrical Cad Tools is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with electrical engineering and other design disciplines
Develop three-dimensional models for project design
Conduct electrical and instrumentation model reviews using Navisworks
Develop diagrams, cable tray layouts, grounding systems, and drawings
Prepare material takeoffs supporting capital cost estimates
Requirements:
Electrical design certification from an accredited institute
Six-plus years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Cadworx, Navisworks, Plant 3D, and electrical Cad Tools
Knowledge of industry standards and Canadian Electrical Code
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Apply electrical design, 3D modeling, Navisworks, and Canadian standards knowledge to Tri Innovations projects in Calgary.
