This senior-level position with Kiewit Power Engineering develops detailed raceway designs from concept through completion. You will design duct banks, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding, and lighting systems. The work supports construction-driven engineering across power generation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design raceway systems using engineering documents, sketches, and vendor data
Develop 3D models and check interferences and constructability
Route electrical cables to generate cable schedules
Perform NEC conduit, tray, and pull-box calculations
Report progress and coordinate project database processes
Requirements:
At least eight years of electrical design experience
Underground design experience from concept through completion
Experience with Smart Plant 3D, Micro Station, or AutoCAD
Ability to conceptualize designs in three-dimensional environments
Strong communication and independent working abilities
Apply electrical design, Smart Plant 3D, and construction-focused coordination skills to power generation projects in Calgary.
