Shape Pacific Link engineering deliverables using pipeline design expertise and technical judgment at Trans Mountain’s full-time, in-office operation.
This contract position reports to the Vice President, Pipeline and Project Services and leads pipeline engineering through pre-FEED and FEED. You ensure designs are safe, compliant, fit for purpose, cost-effective, constructible, operable, and aligned with regulatory milestones. Collaboration spans Engineering, Regulatory, Permitting, Operations, Integrity, Construction, and UPI teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Review pipeline drawings, reports, and technical documentation
- Coordinate multidisciplinary and squad-check design reviews
- Resolve technical queries and design interface issues
- Align owner expectations with Engineer of Record deliverables
- Provide leadership with engineering status, risks, and actions
- Eight years of pipeline or comparable capital-project experience
- Pre-FEED and FEED project support experience
- Knowledge of material selection and multidisciplinary design reviews
- Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for registration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
