Junior Intermediate Well Planner

Use directional drilling, engineering, and anti-collision expertise as a Junior or Intermediate Well Planner in Calgary, Alberta, with Altitude.

Altitude’s Well Planners deliver accurate, timely, high-quality planning services. You will support customer requirements, Altitude procedures, industry standards, regulations, engineering, technical support, and reporting. Junior planners bring one to two years of well planning experience;
Intermediate planners bring three to five years.

• Plan directional drilling projects within established timelines
• Apply anti-collision, geometry, and engineering principles
• Compile and record post-well reports for clients
• Provide technical support and daily drilling updates
• Mentor junior planners and support training

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science
• Directly related oilfield and drilling industry experience
• Excellent computer skills and technical software learning ability
• Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Availability for rotational after-hours on-call support
