Senior Facilities Process Engineer

Calgary-based Senior Plant Engineer roles demand process engineering expertise, safety leadership, and operational support for Cenovus’s Conventional business.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Process & Facilities Engineering, you will support facility operations and business performance. The position combines process modelling, compressor evaluations, valve sizing, and industry-code application. You will partner with Operations and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Champion safety and process safety across facility activities
- Provide process engineering expertise to field operations
- Support shutdown planning and execution with Field Leadership
- Maintain regulatory compliance, reporting, licensing, and emissions requirements
- Lead facility project scopes, estimates, evaluations, and justifications
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- APEGA-registered Professional Engineer designation with authentication ability
- Eight or more years in operations, facilities, and production engineering
- Knowledge of upstream oil and gas facilities and applicable codes
- Strong troubleshooting, judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
