Shape Shale Sim with hydraulic fracturing expertise in Calgary or Houston, connecting fracture design, reservoir simulation, and production forecasting.
As Product Manager, you will own Shale Sim’s roadmap, requirements, and release priorities for unconventional development. You will collaborate with R&D, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing, and client completions and reservoir teams. Your work will guide capabilities across the Permian, Montney, Duvernay, Vaca Muerta, Middle East, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain the Shale Sim roadmap
- Write requirements, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize backlog against client value, risk, and capacity
- Validate releases through benchmark models and field data
- Drive adoption, onboarding, training, and client feedback
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geomechanics, or related field
- Minimum seven years of upstream oil and gas experience
- At least four years in completions or hydraulic fracturing
- Hands-on hydraulic fracture modelling software experience
- Knowledge of unconventional reservoir behaviour and diagnostics
