Summary
The Slot Supervisor is a highly visible presence on the Slot Floor and is responsible for developing and maintaining the highest rapport with guests and developing Slot customer relations. The Slot Supervisor will promote an energetic and exciting experience for all guests while consistently maintaining professionalism, integrity and respect for privacy. He/She will liaise and communicate regularly with Casino Host/PURE Players Rewards.

Capable of completing the regular duties of Slot attendants when requiredEnsure all slot operations are in compliance with AGLC Terms and ConditionsMonitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guestsA passion for excellent service and the organization’s visionCommitment to learning what our customers' needs and wants areEncourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring othersSupport and communicate between all applicable departments associated with the Casino gaming floorResponsible for the daily execution of operational goals and objectivesMaintain an ongoing presence on the gaming floor and create an atmosphere of “fun and excitement” for all guestsActively engage guests throughout the gaming floor and encourage them to sign up for a PURE Rewards CardInteract with guests and provide them with information regarding the Casinos, and promotional eventsDeal directly with guest incidents as they occurRelay any associate-related concerns to the Slot ManagerAdhere to all scheduled shiftsObserves performance of Slot Attendants and executes coaching and mentoringProvide communication to Slot Manager to improve efficienciesCo-ordinate break schedule based on staffing levelsProvide communication through electronic shift report of daily eventsAnswer questions relating to all casino gaming and non-gaming amenitiesMonitor for flags of problem gambling, and refer to senior management as requiredIdentify and report to the Slot manager on service delivery opportunities and shortfallsMaintain a AGLC gaming workers licensePerforms other duties as assignedRequirements
Completion of a Grade XII High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalentIntermediate skills in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)The incumbent must have strong communication and conflict-resolution skills and be comfortable with public speakingSecondary
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a service environment where maintaining guest relationships was a focus of responsibilityWork Conditions
Prolonged standing, walking and in addition to repetitive movement from computer input. Some lifting (up to 15 pounds) may be required for lifting TITO paper boxesConcentration is required for handling files and reports, developing correspondence, and investigating variancesActive listening is required to assist with guest and employee issues
