Love being part of professional, high-energy events? Thrive in organized, fast-paced environments where attention to detail matters? This is your opportunity to support a well-established international conference taking place in Calgary.
We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to support a large-scale industry conference and exhibition from March 9–12, 2026 at a major downtown Calgary venue.
This internationally attended event brings together students, educators, vendors, industry professionals, and regulatory representatives. Event staff will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and a positive attendee experience throughout the week.
Training will be provided for all positions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Verifying credentials and managing access points
- Scanning badges and supporting conference operations
- Providing professional communication with attendees
- Assisting speakers and event leadership as needed
- Supporting event flow and maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Enforcing event policies respectfully and consistently
- Taking direction from onsite event leadership
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable engaging with attendees
Experience:
- Previous customer service or event experience preferred
- Experience in corporate or professional environments considered an asset
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Resourceful and solution-driven when managing attendee concerns or operational challenges
- Ability to take direction and follow procedures
- Confident enforcing event guidelines respectfully
- Reliable and punctual
Base Salary: $18.00–$19.00 per hour (depending on experience and assigned role)
- Temporary employees are payrolled weekly via direct deposit

Conference Dates:
March 9–12, 2026
- Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available
- Full conference availability strongly preferred
- Final schedules will be confirmed prior to assignment
Additional Notes:
- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
