Position OverviewThe Count Room Attendant is involved in the collection of the coin or bill validator drop and the processing of soft count (soft count deals with paper currency). The count team member will also promote and maintain the utmost integrity and highest caliber patron service to all internal and external patrons of the Casino. Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the company, the department and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC), and ensure the policy of confidentiality within the company is adhered to at all times.
EducationAnd Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous banking or money handling experience preferred

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- To logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work assignments or tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents, receive/follow/apply instructions
- Work in a team environment
- Possess high-quality interpersonal skills
- Set and achieve high standards of performance and customer service skills
- Ability to multi task under time constraints
- Perform basic math skills and use problem solving skills
- Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues, learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments and maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
- The position is physically demanding, ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stoop or kneel as required
- Work with tools or equipment pertaining to job requirements
- Perform job tasks and remain vigilant in the event of an emergency
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects of approximately 40 pound
