Join Woodbine Entertainment Group as a Fixed-Term Racing Attendant, providing crucial support during live horse racing events. Assist trainers, jockeys, and horses with essential services to ensure smooth operations.
As a Racing Attendant, your role is vital in maintaining the racing environment. You'll coordinate services for trainers and jockeys, ensuring all equipment is ready and schedules are adhered to. Understanding health and safety procedures is key, as is delivering exceptional customer service during these events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide racing services to trainers and horse owners
• Ensure equipment, tack, and silks are ready for use
• Maintain work-related schedules consistently
• Report any discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Oversee general care and maintenance of equipment
Requirements:
• Basic knowledge of horses and racing regulations
• Understanding of Health and Safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with horse behavior and handling
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
