Join Trickster Theatre as a Production Assistant for the summer in Calgary. This hands-on role focuses on technical support, organization, and behind-the-scenes tasks in a touring setting.

Trickster Theatre is looking for a motivated Production Assistant for an 8-week contract. Ideal candidates have an interest in theatre production and the ability to tackle technical challenges. Your work will encompass equipment maintenance, inventory management, and supporting training resources, ensuring everything functions smoothly during the busy summer period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize lighting, sound, and staging equipment

• Assist with computer and software upgrades

• Inventory and clean costumes, props, and puppets

• Support updates to training manuals and documentation

• Help organize touring rigs and production inventories

Requirements:

• Interest in technical theatre or backstage work

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Comfort with handling various theatre equipment

• Experience with Google Workspace is a plus
