Location: Banff
Elevate the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival experience as a Technical Projection Specialist from October 29 to November 8, 2026, at Banff Centre. Support key events with your projection skills in a creative atmosphere.
As part of the Banff Centre team, you will play a crucial role in managing projection-related tasks for various live productions. The position entails working closely with the Production Manager to ensure successful execution of events. Your technical acumen and attention to detail are paramount to providing high-quality support throughout the festival.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient execution of projection tasks at events
• Provide comprehensive support for live presentations
• Work collaboratively with technical and artistic teams
• Prioritize safety in all technical operations
• Assist in managing specialized production activities
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in technical theatre or production
• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Technical Theatre
• Familiarity with multimedia systems and equipment
• Profound knowledge of projection theories and practices
• Experience with video software like WATCHOUT, Isadora, and Q-Lab
