Front of House Theatre Manager

Lead welcoming theatre operations in Calgary through volunteer coordination, patron assistance, and strong customer-focused service during show runs.

Story Book Theatre Society seeks a Front of House Manager for full-time or part-time evening and weekend shifts. The position manages volunteers, supports theatre operations, and works with Stage Management. Candidates should bring customer service experience, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Greet and assist patrons with a welcoming attitude
• Train and coordinate ushering and concession volunteers
• Maintain theatre cleanliness before and after shows
• Coordinate theatre opening and closing with Stage Management
• Direct autograph lines after applicable performances

• Customer service experience, preferably with an arts organization
• Prior leadership experience managing teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfort with technology and computers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
