Analyst, Capital Markets role at JLL

JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of a Capital Markets Analyst to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to JLL Calgary’s Capital Markets team. The position affords the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with the team on all classes of commercial real estate assets, and will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.

• Work closely with and assist the EVP and VP, Capital Markets to create, edit, and prepare proposals, presentations and marketing packages
• Underwrite commercial real estate investment opportunities
• Use Argus Valuation Software proficiently
• Conduct research and collect information materials on market fundamentals, tenants, and undertake economic and financial analysis
• Handle any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

• Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Math, Economics, Geography or other related field
• 1-2+ years full‑time professional experience required in the commercial real estate sector (other corporate experience considered)
• Proficiency in the use of ARGUS real estate software (knowledge of Argus Enterprise is an asset)
• Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including MS Windows, MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe and Excel (financial modeling)

• Knowledge of key themes impacting capital markets and investment real estate
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
• Ability to work well under pressure while prioritizing competing deadlines
