Are you passionate about jazz and have a background in accounting and finance? JazzYYC is looking for new volunteer Director to join our Board!

We have an urgent need for financial expertise to help guide our non-profit operations. Forthe right candidate, this role offers a potential path to becoming our Treasurer.

Our bookkeeper prepares all entries, invoicing, payments, the financial statements, GST returns, payroll returns and an annual AGLC report. The Treasurer’s role is to review the materials with the Finance Committee monthly, report to the Board and provide guidance where necessary.

Certification or Education Required

An accounting designation is highly recommended. Additional experience with accounting for charitable arts organizations is desirable, but not essential.
