2026 Capital Markets, Global Investment Banking Summer Analyst – Project Advisory & Finance (4 Months)

Our Global Investment Banking division provides underwriting of equity and debt capital, as well as strategic advisory services to leading corporations, institutions and governments worldwide. The Project Advisory & Finance (PA&F) team works closely with coverage and product partners across North America to advise clients in energy, power, digital infrastructure and other sectors on origination, structuring, diligence, and syndication of limited / non‑recourse debt products.
The team also delivers comprehensive financial advisory services to project developers, joint ventures, and infrastructure funds for large‑scale projects.
- Perform financial modeling and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and deal documents
- Participate in internal and external meetings
- Review due diligence reports and financing documents
- Produce industry and company‑specific research and analysis
- Maintain and update sector and product‑focused databases
- Provide general support to the PA&F team
- Graduating from an undergraduate program in December 2026 or Spring 2027
- Desire to learn and eagerness to contribute meaningfully to the team environment at RBC Capital Markets
- Diverse extracurricular activities
- Track record of outstanding academic achievement
- Self‑starter and strong team player capable of working well in a deadline‑driven, fast‑paced environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Knowledge of general capital markets
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
