About the Program

As a Global Investment Banking Summer Analyst, you’ll join the Natural Resources Group where your diverse perspective will help drive innovation for our clients. In this sixteen-week program, you’ll receive comprehensive training, hands‑on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and development opportunities through meaningful projects that challenge you and build your skills. Joining us means you’ll become part of our inclusive team and culture, unified by the firm’s mission and commitment to success.

Based on individual performance, those who successfully complete the program may receive offers to return full‑time the following year.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze market data, build detailed financial models, and prepare client presentations for mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital markets advisory.
  • Participate in client transactions—including mergers and acquisitions and capital markets deals—from initial pitch through to closing, working closely with senior leaders.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address complex, real‑world business challenges.
  • Learn how we support the growth of our clients and communities.
  • Strengthen your technical skills in corporate finance.
Required Qualifications , Capabilities And Skills
  • Fluency means the ability to easily read, write, speak, and comprehend spoken English.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 from a bachelor’s or master’s program; master’s candidates must complete their degree within two years of receiving a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Authorization to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications , Capabilities And Skills
  • Demonstrated energy and commitment to building a career in investment banking.
  • Strong analytical, accounting, finance, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Self‑directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in fast‑paced environments.
