Role OverviewAs Senior Manager of FP&A, you’ll be both architect and operator—leading planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across global functions while building models, digging into data, and driving clarity. You’ll mentor and guide, but also execute with precision, serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership and a catalyst for smarter, faster decisions. This is an in‑office role based in Calgary, Alberta.
Key Responsibilities- Lead global budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes across departments
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision‑making
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Services to drive cross‑functional initiatives and optimize resource allocation
- Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance analysis and executive dashboards
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders
- Drive automation and process improvement across FP&A workflows
- Support board‑level reporting and investor communications
- Be hands‑on with Excel, Net Suite, and other financial systems—this is not a “review and delegate” role
- Major contributor to the company’s M&A and post‑merger integration strategy and execution
- 8–12 years of progressive FP&A experience
- MBA or CPA/CFA designation
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Hands‑on experience with and Net Suite
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives
- Strong business acumen and executive presence
- Willingness to dive deep and execute directly
- Prior experience in a global tech or SaaS environment
- Familiarity with FP&A tools (e.g., Datarails, Mosaic) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Exposure to M&A modeling or capital planning
- Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts
- Experience in remote‑first or hybrid teams
