Our client is an audio‑technology company. They are looking for a Head of Finance to join their team!

• Provide strategic insights to support decision‑making, long‑term planning, and capital initiatives, including participation in fundraising or pitch committees with senior leadership.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial results versus budget and forecast, providing actionable recommendations for operational and strategic improvements.
• Assess production and engineering costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with operations to optimize inventory management and allocate labor, materials, and factory overhead efficiently.
• Submit bank margin reports, grant reports, and GST filings.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and presentations for leadership.

• Develop cash flow strategies to support both operational requirements and strategic growth initiatives.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Report cash flow and financial KPIs to leadership, highlighting risk areas and opportunities.

• Lead the budgeting process, including setting financial targets, forecasting costs, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze budget vs. actual performance, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Support long‑term financial planning and scenario modeling to enable strategic business decisions.

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure data integrity, financial accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee risk management processes and ensure adherence to corporate policies, tax laws, and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with external accountants and auditors to facilitate annual reporting and compliance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in a financial management role, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.

$160,000 - $190,000 / year
