Mortgage Broker Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Broker Assistant to support our process from application through funding. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a Mortgage Broker Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the loan application process and managing customer relationships to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

• Administer and underwrite deals from start to finish
• Provide daily updates to Broker Owner, Clients, and Partners
• Ensure timely completion of File Set up and Pre-Approval
• Request, collect, review, and manage documents from clients
• Maintain compliant, organized, and orderly files with all necessary documentation
• Evaluate client's financial status by analyzing income, credit history, tax information, and bank statements
• Summarize applications and provide submission notes
• Package and deliver customer information to financial partners (lenders) for pre-approval/approval
• Prepare compliance documents and client information packages
• Respond promptly to client inquiries
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with clients and partners
• Handle calls with lenders and potential clients
• Stay updated on industry and lender changes
• Anticipate and collaborate with underwriters on conditions
• Manage multiple client files with timely handling

• 2+ years of mortgage broker assistant experience
• Available between 9AM – 5PM Mountain Standard Time (Being located in Calgary, AB is an asset)
• - Mortgage Agent license is required
• Post-secondary education is preferred but not required
• Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills
• Resourceful and proactive with excellent attention to detail
• Positive and fast learner
• Well-organized and works effectively under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Salary Compensation plus bonus opportunities

Full Time, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5PM MST

Remote with the ability to meet for occasional meetings in Calgary.
