Typical Scope
As a Director of Finance, you’ll be a key strategic leader, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth.
Core Responsibilities
Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to drive business performanceOversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standardsPartner with executive leadership to develop long-term growth strategiesManage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform decision-makingImplement and refine financial processes, systems, and controls to support scalabilitySupport initiatives such as M&A, funding rounds, and market expansionsMentor and develop high-performing finance teamsKey Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA designation highly preferred10+ years of progressive financial experience, including senior leadership rolesProven success in strategic financial planning and team developmentExpertise in IFRS/GAAP, budgeting, and risk managementExperience in high-growth or transformative industries is an assetExceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsTypical Perks
