We are currently accepting applications for an Associate which will be located either in our Kelowna, BC or Calgary AB office.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly driven Associate to join our Investment Banking team located in Calgary, A.B. or Kelowna B.C. This individual will play a key role in executing M&A transactions, financial analysis, industry research, client presentations, and supporting deal origination initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and clients while contributing directly to transaction success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Support and lead key work streams on M&A, capital raises, and strategic advisory mandates.
- Build and review detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables, accretion/dilution, precedent transactions).
- Prepare CIMs, pitch materials, management presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts across internal teams and external advisors.
- Assist in negotiating terms and transaction structures.
- Collaborate with clients to understand strategic objectives and provide advisory support.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, investors, and partners.
- Conduct in-depth sector research and monitor market trends across target industries.
- Support thought leadership initiatives and contribute to deal origination insights.
- Identify potential buyers, investors, or acquisition targets.
- Mentor analysts and help oversee deliverable quality.
- Manage deadlines and ensure the accuracy of client materials.
- Contribute to improving internal tools, processes, and best practices.
- 3–5+ years’ experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or corporate finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (CFA, CPA, or MBA considered assets)
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver under tight timelines
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
- Strategic problem-solver with strong commercial intuition
- High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability
- Collaborative team player with leadership potential

Compensation: $70,000 – 95,000 per year plus bonuses and an opportunity for advancement.
